Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada
Canadian Immigration and Refugee Law
Whether you are applying for temporary or permanent stay in Canada, the immigration application process can be difficult and intimidating. Given increased regulations that make it difficult to qualify for visas, you want to ensure that someone capable handles your application from the start. Having immigrated to Canada himself, Andrew Carvajal understands the significance of this process and the role it plays in his clients' personal and professional lives.
There are a number of options available to individuals looking to immigrate to Canada. This is why it is important to have someone qualified help you determine your immigration needs and advise you during the process.
Some of the different immigration options available include the following:
-Temporary resident visas (TRVs) - for those looking to come to Canada for a temporary stay, like a vacation or a short period of study or work
-Parent and grandparent Super Visa
-Study permits
-Work permits
Temporary Residence Applications
We also advise clients in matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB). This is Canada's largest independent administrative tribunal and is responsible for making decisions on immigration and refugee matters.
Our services include refugee protection claims before the Refuge Protection Division of the IRB, and any subsequent appeals of these decisions to the Board's Refugee Appeal Division.
We also assist clients with hearings and appeals to the Immigration Division and the Immigration Appeal Division of the IRB. This includes admissibility hearings for certain categories of people believed to be inadmissible to, or removable from Canada, detention reviews for persons detained under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, as well as appeals on refused sponsorship applications.
